About Me
My name is Barney Burleson, AKA the Uberdoggy. I was born April of 2004 but MySpace wouldn't let me have my own page because of that so my Mom lied (sshhhhh don't tell) and said I was born in her year so I could have my page. Silly MySpace :oÞ
I am a Great Dane mix. Not sure WHAT I am mixed with. Some people speculate boxer or pit bull. My family got me after they had to put my big brother Harley to sleep. He was a red Chow Chow and he was 2 weeks older than my human sister. I never met him but I have heard lots and lots about him. He was 12 and 1/2 and they said they never thought they would love another doggy as much as they loved him....until they got me.
My Mom says I have "personality". I am not sure what that means. All I know is they hug and kiss me a lot and say I make them laugh and smile. They really like my big brown hound dog eyes and when I lay my head in Moms lap and look up at her she says she will give me just about anything I want. I have been hoping for a porterhouse steak but so far that hasn't happened. Maybe that is the "almost" part of that statement huh?
My family has done lots of fostering in the past. Different animals for different groups. They just love animals so much it is hard for them to see one in need. There have been times when there have been LOTS of animals in our house, but we make due.
When my family adopted me they had goats and chickens and ducks. Boy I loved chasing those ducks! But because we moved they had to find homes for them all. Mom really misses her goats. They were kinda cool, but they talked funny and smelled weird.
My family will update my page with lots of the cute things I do or the adventures I go on. You will be able to meet them all through pictures here soon and the stories my Mom tells.

What is the funniest thing you have done? I love to lay my head on the coffee table and look up with the big hound dog eyes when I want what they are eating. Works quite often, When that fails I drool on my Mom's leg hehe
What is the bravest thing you have done? I don't like to feel my family is in danger so I will get in the middle if anyone is making them yell, it makes me nervous

Are you a social animal? I love to go to Petsmart and smell butts
Are you always doing something bad when nobody is looking? I sometimes tear things up if I am left alone. I pout a lot if my girl is gone and I can't sleep with her
Are you friendly? VERY but can be shy when you first meet me. Mom says it is because I wasn't treated right when I was little so I didn't bond properly with humans
Are you overweight? heck no! I am in top shape ggrrr baby ..
Do you like warm milk? Mom stays away from dairy for me. It makes me ummm.....smell bad
Do you eat cheese? I love it on my burgers!
Do you eat bugs? na, I leave that to Ginger, she is a dingbat and chases them
Do you live with other animals? yes, Angel, she is a Westhighland Terrier, Ginger is a Westie/Maltese mix. We also have a FAT cat named Charlie, or as we have come to call him, Jabba the Cat!
Do you like being in the house more than being outside? I love laying on my sofa but love to chase Angel and Ginger around the yard or lay on the patio and soak up some sun
Do you like to exercise? ya I love to play
Do you like car rides? yup, love my tongue and ears flappin in the breeze
Do you get into stuff? not usually, only if I am mad that I have been left alone
Do you like to swim? never have, but I am not too fond of bath time, my girl washes me in the shower
