My Interests

my interests include anything from star wars to rogers and hammerstein, super mario to call of duty, collecting dust to dissecting it, and feeding ducks in spring to running barefoot through snow in the dead of winter.

Music:

hefty amounts of jewel and angry girl rock like alanis morissette and fiona apple, a little elton john and billy joel, lots of bob marley, daily supplements of erasure, david bowie, and the whole 80s gang, and all the classic rock you can fit into a single afternoon. not to mention the downtime melting pot of muse, gogol bordello, tim burton soundtracks, and louis armstrong.

Movies:

of course the ones everyone likes (or should like), as in the princess bride, the nightmare before christmas, the breakfast club, the entire disney collection and so forth; but also things like hackers, scorched, better off dead, and office space. harder-to-find classics like the last starfighter and drop dead fred. and, need i mention?, star wars, bill and ted, wayne's world, and the three amigos.

Television:

i never thought i'd say this, but i'm addicted to gilmore girls. also 24, scrubs, and the office. and late night with conan o'brien. quantum leap is cool too. ...so is firefly. and the discovery and history channels.

Books:

are my life. or, like 80% of it. charlotte bronte, paulo coelho, r. a. salvatore, jostein gaarder, robin mckinley. anything from gentile english romances to dream-following quests across deserts to savagely ripping out the throat of an orc with dual scimitars. and if it's a combination of all three, even better.
