I have my thumb in a lot of pies, but pies are yummy. Because every one job is a mental break from the last!

We live in beautiful Colorado, a love-hate relationship for me. I love my friends, church family, job, and the scenic views, but the climate just plain sucks. We could choose to stay here forever, or go where the Air Force sends us...tough choice, and thankfully I don't have to make it yet.

My Interests

You probably wouldn't know it if you never met me BC (before children), but I really like arts and crafts. I never really have enough time with the kids, since I am a perfectionist and like to take time to get motivated and into my work. Oh well, there's always retirement or Heaven; Either way, I'll draw again!

I also enjoy just hanging out with my family, when we're all together and not in a rush. It's awesome time! Much better than anything else I can think of...

I am also a very political person at heart. I can't really get behind "office politics," but once a candidate for a civil service position has won my heart I put my mind to supporting him.

I'd like to meet:

I am still a Bush supporter. Not much has changed for me since 2000. I'd love to meet him again - maybe after his term is up - and pick his brain. I have been on his side of the microscope (as a former intel person) and I'm totally fine with his job. Some choices are really hard to make, and I am glad I didn't have to make them, because I am sure I would not have done as well. Also, this shows it's important to have a sense of humor no matter who you are:

Maybe one day, I'll find some women to add to my list...But as a conservative woman, anyone who I would put here would likely not be know well enough by others for it to make a difference. No activist actresses or musicians. No 'models' or 'beauty' queens. No PETA paint-throwers or pro-choice hags who feel like you have to back abortion to protect your rights as a woman. Whatever. One day...

Music:

Whatever, as long as it doesn't need to be played on a crappy car sound system so that you can feel it instead of hearing it...that pretty much means the song sucks so bad, it doesn't matter - as long as it has bass. I'm not into that. If you're gonna write a song, you may as well make it good, right?
