X-MAN of THE VJC

About Me

True musicians are hard to find today in a hip-hop industry dominated by producers who follow the bandwagon, whether mainstream or independent. The DJ/Producer simply known as X-MAN stands as a rare specimen in times where being innovative often scares off those who arent ready. The Los Angeles native is a founding member of the massive, nationwide music syndicate, The Vinyl Junkies (VJC), who are busy mastering the craft of blowing peoples heads apart with futuristic bump from four different cities in country. He left Los Angeles in 1999 to attend St. Johns University in New York City, the birthplace of hip-hop. Here, he picked up the necessary elements to combine his West Coast roots and love for music with an East Coast flair to give him a truly unique flavor that can appeal to a wide range of listeners. The twenty-four year old X-MAN combines hard drums and bass lines with an uncanny ability to experiment through unconventional sounds, which is a trademark of the elite VJC Productions. Since moving back to Los Angeles in 2004, he has re-established himself as one-third of the West Coast VJ Chapter, a.k.a. The McKinley Pros where he churns out a relentless amount of beats, mixes and records from The JunkYard. At this point in his career, X-MAN is looking to cultivate his portfolio as a producer and is looking for various artists to collaborate with and bless with beats. If you love music and want to know how its face will change over the next decade, look no further; the future is here in X-MAN.
