I am running an online licensing platform based in Germany where we are trying to bring together new and rising musicians with licensees in advertising, film, TV, video games. Licensing can be done via the website in four easy steps. For the artists it is the opportunity to increase their media exposure and obtaining some extra money for it. Plus, for the artist there is no label commitment because the repertoire is generally licensed on a non-exclusive basis so artists are free to use their songs in whatever manner they like.
