The Eli Manor Band

About Me

Formed in 2002 in Casper, Wyoming. Yes, from Wyoming. Calling it the power blues The Eli Manor Band plays the stylings of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Indigenous, Chris Duarte, Ian Moore, Doyle Bramhall II and many more. Playing little gigs to bigger local mainstream events and headlining some of those gigs. Set out to put out their first CD by late spring of 2006. The Eli Manor Band has a sound of their own. At a later show, they performed with another Wyoming blues band who have had a big impact in the blues world, the band is Blinddog Smokin'. Blinddog has played everywhere you can think of, even The King Biscuit Blues Festival. after the band's performance they were approached by Blinddog's guitar player, Jason Coomes, about recording their CD with him. Without batting an eye, the band called Jason, set up dates and recorded their disc. Mr. Coomes also produced and played a bit on the album. A mix of their influences can be heard through out the disc with their own twist. Catching the eye of a local celebrity DJ the band has done numerous interviews and has some of their songs played on the airwaves. They have had the whole disc played during one of the interviews. The band is now building a very strong fan base and are continuing to write and perform to spread the blues word. The Eli Manor Band has opened for some big name acts over the summer. They have opened for Cross Canadian Ragweed and Indigenous.
