DJ Ruffle Drum and Bass/Jungle London based www.myspace.com/rumbleandscratchDJ Ruffle embarked on this musical adventure 4 years ago while living Delft, Holland, where he had his debut within a few months at the first Fix party in Sowieso, Den Haag. For two years he was a member of the Fix promo crew doing events in Den Haag and Wessenar, scoring a residency in the Oude Kerk Cafe in Delft.In 2005 the UK called, so he moved there to set up Rumbleandscratch, playing out at London raves, clubs and bars. In 2007 he became a moderator for DNBHEAVEN, an internet based drum and bass radio station. The sound of the drum and bass in the dutch squats resonated beyond listening-pleasure with Ruffle, a hardcore heavy metal fan in his younger years, and he has developed crush on the jungle beat and the ragga flavour and is experimenting with these sounds mostly. Although, occasional throwbacks to industrial strength breakcore are not infrequent, the heavier sounds represent what got him into this whole forum. Ruffle has a tight cutting and mixing style for a fairly young dj, and his style is unstoppable.DJ Ruffle has a weekly show The Underground Fingerprint every Saturday night from 8 to 1am.
