She's the One.

About Me

What about me? OK, besides others I write for Metal Hammer Greece, so if you have a cool demo, get in touch, right? Progression has three levels: real progression, regression and stagnation. For many years, the vintage movement depicts true progression whereas so called progressive music only manifests new wave complexes and pseudo marxist economic criticism of art. In other words, going back to our roots and axioms seems to me the best way to reinvent basic life thematics and self consciousness.

You are The Devil

Materiality. Material Force. Material temptation; sometimes obsession

The Devil is often a great card for business success; hard work and ambition.

Perhaps the most misunderstood of all the major arcana, the Devil is not really "Satan" at all, but Pan the half-goat nature god and/or Dionysius. These are gods of pleasure and abandon, of wild behavior and unbridled desires. This is a card about ambitions; it is also synonymous with temptation and addiction. On the flip side, however, the card can be a warning to someone who is too restrained, someone who never allows themselves to get passionate or messy or wild - or ambitious. This, too, is a form of enslavement. As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. The important thing is to remember that any chain is freely worn. In most cases, you are enslaved only because you allow it.

My Interests

Music, literature, poetry. Also writing. Prechristian world.

I'd like to meet:

I met almost everyone who I'd like to have met. Time to meet myself... p.s: it'd be nice if I had the chance to meet Lester Bangs, even if the most probable outcome of our meeting would be swearing at each other and fist dialogues...How dare I forget...the mighty Charles Bukowski, have a drink with him, go to the races and party with Bach blasting out of the speakers. Robert Graves...gosh, everybody I want to meet is dead...Uli Jon Roth.Roy Harper. Jesus of Nazareth.

Music:

Electricity and some folk music.

Movies:

Walk the Line. The Libertine. The Devil's Rejects. The Wicker Man.V for Vendetta. All italian giallo/splatter films, mainly by Fulci, Deodatto, Argento, Bava etc. Holy Mountain. El Topo. Das Leben der Anderen. Pan's Labyrinth. The Wind that Shakes the Barley. Der Untergang.

Television:

Sick to the teeth of the news on TV...

Books:

So plenty of them. Last darlings: "From Lenin to Lennon. A Memoir of Russia in the sixties" by David Gurevich and "The Rum Diary" by Hunter S. Thompson. Also "The White Goddess" by Robert Graves and Lester Bangs' "Psychotic Reactions and Carburator Dung", plus all audio books by left extremists Floh de Cologne. The "Golden Bough" by Sir James Fraser. Everything by Cornelius Castoriades. New enrties being "Fidel Castro. Biografia a dos voces"/Ignacio Ramonet. Lyrics by Neil Peart and Spice.

Heroes:

The last greek hero was Aris Velouhiotis...as most of the partisans in the Democratic Army who liberated Greece from the Italians and Germans. Quite abominable that everybody has forgotten about them...then the British took over. Now the U.S have the upper hand.

Finding out about the "blog"

What's a blog? Something very new to me at least. I might try it out, still don't see any particular reason. However, I read lots of things about this "new" ethos. It should be like a diary they say. ...
