Help me, I'm being repressed...

About Me

Al Gore is my homeboy!About me? Well... entertaining, fruity with a touch of nuttiness, ribald, and frighteningly intelligent begin to describe it. So do overbearing, arrogant, and prone to yelling. Did I mention arrogant??? I'm half owner of the baddest-ass web marketing company ever. Period. If you disagree, then get in touch and I'll prove it. Definitely arrogant.

You want to be friends... that would be fine. No really. It would.

Thanks for coming!!

My Interests

Triathlons, my family, my work, music, miniature wargaming, wine, guitar, art, travel, the beach (or my pool is a pretty close second).

I'd like to meet:

Many people... Kevin Smith, Trey Parker, Paula Zahn, Warren Buffett, Tibor Fischer, Sue Bird, Lance Armstrong, Floyd Landis, Denzel Washington, Bill Murray, John Cleese, Monica Bellucci, Stephen King, Ricky Gervais.Oh... you mean on MySpace... I gee, I dunno.

Music:

Yes... all of it. Current faves: New Johnny Cash, Trip-hop, the 'Singing Playlist' for road trips with my daughter Meg, Wyclef Jean, stuff I can play on the guitar (which means 'sounds good, but simple'). G. Love & The special sauce -- Lemonade is a great album. Get it! Also, atmosphere, most acid jazz, occasional regression to my Van Halen period, Cake, Bob Schneider.

Movies:

They're pretty cool too... old war movies, suspense, action, classics... on a Ridley Scott binge lately. Stuff I come back to: Harold & Kumar, Super Troopers, Alien (any of them), vampire flicks (c'mon -- you know you think Blade is cool and that John Carpenter's "Vampires" is hilarious... admit it.) Boondock Saints, Charlie's Angels, CaddyShack, Event Horizon, The Duellists, Bridge on the River Kwai, 2001, Clockwork Orange, Akira, Clueless, and so forth.

Television:

Wish I had more time... Lost, Firefly, Battlestar, reality TV (in the "I love to hate it" category).

Books:

Like them too... lots of them. Classic SF and Fantasy, Business books... you name it. Some good ones lately: George R.R. Martin series, "How Capitalism Saved America", "Tipping Point", rereading Robert Graves "I, Claudius". Check out "The Thought Gang" as well as "Resume with Monsters".

Heroes:

See "who I'd like to meet".
