Funny, I used to draw compulsively prolifically... it's what should come as naturally as breathing..

About Me

I'm just yer basic 24/7 seething conciousness hungry for information and mostly unusual/ subversive forms of expression. My taste in music and film more than borders on obsessive, yet I am also fascintated by the folk arts of a great many cultures (as well as architecture). Ultimately, the more I try to describe myself and interests- the harder I try to nail myself down- the more frustrated and even confused I become! There you go... I feel both solid and formless, which I guess forms the backbone of my ever-fractal neverending relationship with dualities/ polarities that I see everywhere (It's presence is already quite evident in my profile).

My Interests

Beyond the cultural interests previously mentioned, I search for meaning in The World (and the mercurial nature of "truth") through such systems as Voodou, Shamanism and dreamwork. I also yearn for the day I can say seemingly controversial things outside my living room and not be immediately (mis)judged according to the most current publicly imposed rules-of-communication. So much social static inhibits the deep exchange of ideas. I'd like to think I'm interested in almost everything, but we all have prevalent tastes based on personality and experience. I depend on making art and music (see WHITE LIGHT REVOLVER and ANCESTRAL VESSEL pages) to keep daily life interesting.

I'd like to meet:

Grant Morrison, Philip K. Dick, Jaz Coleman (again and more personally), David Cronenberg, Genesis P-Orridge, Alexandro Jodorowsky, Mark E. Smith (warts-n-all!), Mike Keane, Henry Rollins, Ken Keasey, Cosey Fanni-Tutti, Thurston Moore (just shut the door on two rabid, seasoned music geeks in a meat locker for the weekend and leave us the basic 'Trainspotting' buckets and smokes... hell, we may never even get to the buckets, just piss inna corner sounding like dueling Miles Davis!), Joe Coleman and plenty more who aren't immediately coming to mind. I don't need to meet Roky Erickson; I'm just very happy to see him able to function again and enjoy himself. HA and a big F-bomb to those foolish and nasty enough to only like him as a tragic figure. He did more than his time for psychic exploration, human nature and slowly (with some help) having to find the rhythm of his own spirit's therapy to bring him back from a thornily weeding schizophrenia to happily being able to plug back into the mainframe and even start to gig and write new material (in his 60's) again. And Gawd, I utterly envy his Zen-like, childlike pleasure just talking to people, playing to any-size crowd, and enjoying a local ice cream shop flavor named after him!

An unused E.T. abduction lyric...

This little dittie combines two traumatically formative experiences when I was between 4-6 years of age. One took place in the dreamscape and the other punctured through to the waking world. Enjoy!!! ...

"Poetry is such a dirty word"

The word "Poetry" brings a multitude of images to fellow minds, often with eye-rolling thoughts of "Pretense". I'm often guilty of such brush-off attitude myself, to the point where I'm much more com...
