In the summer of 2004, after two days of recording in a Tyrone farm shed, Terence left with a three track solo acoustic demo of his first few songs to distribute amongst friends. In the months that followed, copies of copies of the demo circulated quickly around Ireland then the U.K. Responces began to come from France, Germany, U.S.A, Mexico and Australia. Unsolicited press reviews started to appear alongside college radio play. A scratched copy of the demo made it's way into the hands of a British televison producer, who retraced it's origion and requested all of Terence's current recorded material be sent to him for a new U.K music televison show in planning. Soon after, live performance requests began, forcing the painfully stage shy songwriter to finally overcome his fears and hurriedly gather enough material for a full show.
After more than a year of touring, Terence became increasingly uncomfortable with the quality of much of the quickly written set and decided to withdraw from public performance, instead choosing to focus on songwriting as a craft, strengthening his song collection and recording the new material. During this period, "Curious, curious", the critically well recieved four track E.p was independantly released without promotion or tours, Terence instead chose to begin work imediately on a full album.
Three years in the making, "Beta" was recorded in various houses around the country and performed entirely by Terence, with the exception of two bass lines which were performed by long time friend and the albums co producer: Jay McBride.
"Beta" is due for release in late 2009 through Junkstore Records in conjuntion with a national tour.
