About Me

When I was a young boy, I read a novel entitled "The Outsiders." Well, no, not really. I read part of it, and then watched the movie featuring Patrick Swayze, Matt Dillon, and the Karate Kid, before I was told the book was written by a sixteen year old girl, which may or may not be true, and I never thought to ask. It never really mattered. I do remember however, feeling so unaccomplished and lethargic for having done nothing like that at such a young age, and thus I made a personal resolution to be published by the time I was twenty. If you know anything about me, however, you know that I'm always fashionably late. Below is a novel I published at twenty two. I do feel compelled to mention, however, that by the time Alexander the Great was my age, he'd conquered half the known world. Tomatoes, tomatos ladies and gentlemen. Moral of the story is: do what you love. Nothing less will ever do.

I wrote for Uprise Magazine, based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Owner and Editor Dave Darr is the man and I believed in his magazine.
I'm in a band with four of my best friends on the face of the earth.
A man loved by a woman who believes in him, can conquer the universe.
Seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

An allegory of things often thought but never said to a brick wall.

Your eyes are like the sea. Two oceans that pull and draw me in, only to have the tide send me home again. I admire your grace from the shore. I desire the grace of your undertow. I've starved for you...
