retox

I was born in Truro, Cornwall, my mother's Irish and my father is Scottish but i've lived in England all my life, so i don't know what that makes me (a bit of a freak i think). I currently live in Jannersville, Devon but have plans to mve at some point. I was brought up in the middle of nowhere in Dorset playing with bits of old rope and traaaactor tyres for fun so i've always been a southern fairy, but have adapted to urban life quite well. Since living in Plymouth i have started mixing drum'n'bass although i have always listened to it an other rave music such as jungle, trance and hardcore passiontley since i was 15. I have been mixing for 2 years now and been playing out under the name retox for about a year and a half at all the local clubs starting in the UPSU (cheers Mark), and since playing in the Viaduct, the Dance Academy, The Hub, Fandangos and now co-promoting and organising a night in the Fortescue called Rollcage. My style started off playin more jump up rollers from the likes of the full cycle crew, subfocus, generatin dub, ebony dubsters, j majik and wickerman, JB, spice, friction, pendulum, dred bass, chris su, adam F, digital, congo natty, zinc, dillinja, fresh, ed rush and optical etc etc etc. I have now progressed into more heavy techy stuff still with the rolling style, jus a little deeper e.g corrupt souls, infiltrata, vicious circle, loxy and ink, noisia, gridlock, evol intent, psidream, calyx, teebee, skitty, counterstrike, mampi, blame, spor, prolix, quadrant, black sun empire, raiden, chase and status, ewun, universal project, dom and roland, the militia and generally most things on hardware, barcode and TOV etc etc etc.Thats about it for the moment as i cant be arsed to put anything else on here.
