My Interests

Music, films and extreme cinema, going to gigs, festivals, photographing live bands and wild women. Discovering interesting places and people.

I'd like to meet:

I am pretty lucky and have managed to interview musicians I really admire starting at the deep end with Christina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil. Others that stand out were Tarrie B and Mick from My Ruin, Killjoy of Necrophagia, Gary Numan, GWAR, Octavia Sperati, Gojira, Primordial, Dark Tranquillity, To-Mera and loads more.

Band Requests. I am getting inundated with band requests, too many to keep up with so am now getting brutal. I will use tracks on your player like a demo. If I like what I hear after a few minutes of a couple of tracks I will add, if not deny. Don't take it personally. (Hint I do not like power metal, screamo, pop punk, emo and AOR, so don't even bother). If I have the time I may start culling some already added.

Music:

Metal of all shapes sizes and description. Black, death, doom, gothic, punk. Anathema, Akercocke, Bauhaus, Borknagar, Centurions Ghost, Conflict, Dark Tranquillity, Drudkh, Emperor, Enslaved, Fields Of The Nephilim, Finntroll, Gathering, GGFH, Hawkwind, Hate Forest, Immortal, Impaled Nazerene, Jesu, Joolz, Killing Joke, Krieg, Laibach, Leech Woman, Mayhem, My Dying Bride, Necrophagia, New Model Army, Opeth, Oziric Tentacles, Pigface, Psychic TV, Revolting Cocks, Rotting Christ, Satyricon, Sigh, Thus Defiled, Type O Negative, Ulver, Ultraviolence, Velvet Cacoon, Watain, Xasthur, Young Gods, Zyklon. Movie Soundtracks, Classical Music. The list goes on and on.

Movies:

Extreme Cinema, Horror, gore, splatter, Dario Argento, Lucio Fulci, Alejandro Jodorowsky, David Cronenberg, Jorg Buttgereit, Jim Van Bebber, John Carpenter, Stuart Gordon, Zombies, Euro Sleaze, WiP movies, anything non mainstream and challenging.

Television:

The television is the retina of the minds eye. It rarely appeals and is an idiot box designed to control a generation who cannot think for themselves. Sometimes I succumb god damnit.

Books:

Stephen King, Clive Barker, Dean R Koontz, Guy N Smith, James Herbert, Christopher Fowler, Graham Masterton, Hunter S Thompson, Douglas Coupland, Shaun Hutson, Richard Laymon, The Marquis De Sade.
