About Me

First of all, I'm a husband and father. Family has to come first, otherwise, what's the point? Next, I'm a writer. I write a daily blog. I've written novels (unpublished, of course), poetry, and songs. I'm a singer-songwriter/guitar player. I'm an artist, who studied fine-arts in college for too long. I'm an outdoorsman, in the natural sense (no high-tech advantages). I'm a carpenter, specializing in Victorian restoration and design. I play golf. I have a tendency to use humor to diffuse drama. I'm an individualist. I believe that collectivism is like a cancer that is eroding everything that was good about America. I think most people are like everything else on this planet. They are a balance between light abd dark, good and bad. I believe each of us is responsible for the choices that determine where on the good/bad scale we fall. I believe that, if you're expecting me to change in order to please you, or you are expecting yourself to change in order to please me, we are both in serious trouble. Change comes when we allow ourselves to be open to it, and usually unexpectedly. Forced change won't last, no matter where the pressure comes from. Well, I'm glad we've had this little chat. It was good for me. Was it good for you?If you're interested in buying one of my albums, leave a message to that effect, and I'll see that you get one. Thanks
