I love Art (not just the ASCII kind), Photography, Filmmaking and Music. Just about anything that requires creativity really.
Love to read, enjoy a good movie, spending time with mates and family and all things web related.
I'd like to meet:
George Lucas , Kevin Smith , Ryan Reynolds, Joss Whedon , Dave Navarro , Dave Grohl , ... more to be added.
Television:
Deadwood.. now this show is very cool... A little bit of swearing never hurt anyone.. and hey, it's set in the 1800's, wild west of the Dakota Mountains..
StarGate Atlantis... Another fantastic show.. If you haven't seen it... get it out on DvD and spend a weekend with some mates and enjoy.
Firefly Is AWESOME... Fantastic script, funny, dramatic and the appropriate effects. Not your typical Sc-Fi show... but it is a Joss Whedon production... so that should say it all really... And of course the movie Serenity.
Battlestar Galactica.. the new series.
I loved the original. I really did. I was just a kid and it was the best. But this new one adds a new dimension. Drama, thought provoking scripts... And of course the cylons are sexy.
Desperate Housewives. Okay, it may sound a little strange some guy saying "I dig Desperate Housewives" but I came into it late. Well long after the first series had finished. I got the first season for my wife because she only caught two episodes and she had liked what she saw. So she forced me to watch the first few episodes with her. I really didn't want to. But when I did... WOW.
I'm a big fan of a well written story. I've actually had a few short stories published in magazines myself. And DH has an overabundance of storylines and entwining plots, it really is too good to believe that someone came up with this show. Thankfully it lasted longer than one season. Too often great shows get the axe for reasons which seem to evade that of an intelligent person. We're half way through watching Season Two. Maybe it's dropped about 10% in overall laughs and "WTF?" twists but it's still 3 times better than most television out there.
Books:
Anything by Terry Pratchet, Dan Brown, Clive Cussler, Aaron Allston, Timothy Zahn, the list goes on...
Heroes:
Conrad Hall, Kevin Smith, Troy Duffy... more to be named later.
