I am the newest representative of a family steeped in musical tradition. The Brey clan goes back over 200 years in American musical history. My grandmother, Carrie, sang and played several string and woodwind instruments, as well as, piano. Her younger sister, Elizabeth, was a child prodigy on the cello, and played at the Philadelphia Music Academy at the age of 12. Both sisters performed together in musicals, and taught music and voice. My dad, Bob, continued the Brey tradition and played the clarinet in his youth. I grew up listening to all different musical styles. In my early years, I sang in the church choir, and performed in musicals.My actual singing career began a few years ago when a childhood friend, Lisa Dawn Miller, asked me to sing backup for her show in Las Vegas. This sparked an interest to begin singing as a soloist and, I've recorded four cover songs. I then started writing music together with my musical partner, Rich Pulin. To date, we've accomplished writing three songs "Stealie Dan", "Could I Love You More" and "Here I Am Again". You can hear these songs on my CD "Here I Am Again" and our "Always Pulin for You" CD (with vocalist - Amy Keys - lead singer for Phil Collins).As well as writing music together, Rich Pulin and I have also written four screenplays, which we are in the process of producing, and will be scoring the music for these films.Not only does singing and writing run in the family, but also art. This website is a tribute to my late brother, Bobby's paintings. Before he passed away at the age of 18, he painted some replicas of the Masters (Rembrandt, Durer, Turner to name a few). WOW!
