Influences: I don't often listen to recordings - there is no substitute for the live experience. My primary influences are those I've seen most often: Nick Fraser, Han Bennink, Dan Weiss, Deb Sinha, Terry Clarke, Michel Lambert, Fritz Hauser, Tom Rainey, Mark Kelso, Bob Becker, Larnell Lewis, Nate Smith
Sounds Like: Minimalism with a dose of absurdist humour. Somewhere between Kafka and Don McKellar.

Plastic Acid!

I just got back from rehearsal with the Plastic Acid Orchestra - apparently the world's first fully-electric symphony orchestra. Along with Shostakovich and Beethoven, we'll be doing a few pieces next...
