Books, music (especially live performances, and of those, especially symphonies, chamber music, and jazz), backpacking/hiking, writing, traveling, scuba diving, running, swimming!, biking, snowboarding, yoga, museums of just about any sort, sporting events, board games (especially word and strategy games. Come on, challenge me to Scrabble. I dare you.), all sorts of science, economics, world politics... just about anything, really.
I like to meet everyone once. However, I don't necessarily like to see them again after that.
Classical! and standards, blues, jazz, catchy overplayed top-40 crap, country, classic rock...again, just about anything if I'm in the right mood.
I like movies as long as I have laundry to fold or someone to snuggle while I'm watching them. Except horror movies. I always hate those.
I avoid it... but I can't resist The Office. Or Scrubs, or Weeds-- but only if I can watch sans commercials. And I've been known to succumb to many shows on the discovery channel, history channel, and HGTV if I'm feeling bored and lazy (or, again, have laundry to fold or someone to snuggle).
Currently reading/books on deck: Master and Margarita, Don Quixote, Collapse, Paradise Lost, The Elegant Universe.
Sure. There are heroes everywhere if you know how to look.
