Mark Dillender passed away November 24th 2007, on this day our school, town and the world lost someone who always had a smile on his face,Mark had a rare gift...just by using his facial expressions and tone of voice he could instantly make u laugh and smile. I met mark in 2nd grade. Together with him and Matt Raley we called our selves the bear creek boys. From going into the woods and getting dirty, making movies to resemble the jack ass show when it was popular, and doing nothing but making memories along the way. We laughed till our faces hurt, making jokes about each other on early morning bus rides to school, picking on Mark's little brother Dylan who always tagged along and would do nething to try and be like his brother and hang out with the older boys. Calling each other christmas morning to compare gifts. from 2nd grade to 8th grade Mark Matt and myself formed some great memories to make me wat i am today. and i cant thank Mark enough for that. Matt moved in 8th grade to wilmington, then soon enough Mark moved away to. Leaving me alone....but sure enough later that summer Mark returned and together me and him took on High School. Hanging out with him during 9th and 10th grade made high school easy. Mark introduced me to abby who i would later date for awhile and now i am pretty good friends with now which also led me to meet more people i am now decent friends with. I can thank Mark for that too. During 10th grade i convinced Mark to wrestle with me and he turned out to b pretty good making all the way to regionals. After 10th grade we had a falling out. He met new people and so did i. But when we saw each other in the hallways at school it was like nothign changed. Finally we got to 12th grade. I had jusr got back to talking to him i went to his house and spent some time with him his girlfriend Alisha(not sure if i spelled her name right) and Kassi. While at his house with the 3 of them it was like Me and Mark never grew apart. Then I stood by him during our Senior Pep Rally. It was like we had been best friends the whole time. Mark's Personality made it easy to talk to him and laugh and he made the experince even better. I just hope people who read this understand how great of a person he was. Even though he left us on a bad circumstance...we all need to understand that He deserves to b remembered and honored for all 17 years of his life he shared with us...Through his family, girlfriend, and his friends, Mark Dillender will always be remembered. R.I.P Mark Bear Creek Boys 4 Ever.
