Well, for 24 years I haven't had any interests except my kids and their activities. I was the room mom, the team mom, the PTA and booster club officer, the field trip chaperone, the provider of snacks and/or meals to 18 Varsity sports teams, and the party thrower. That phase seems to be phasing out...but rather slowly...old habits die hard, and this year finds me still feeding 3 varsity sports teams, even though I have no children on them. Well, sure I do, it's just that they are Momma Hoff's "other kids", and both Rick and I LOVE being able to go and support them as they compete. The Celica convertible is still number 1 in my book, and driving with my top down and my stereo blasting is still my most exhilarating recreation! Have been going to a lot of concerts lately, most noteworthy ...Alice in Chains, Guns & Roses, Brookes & Dunn, REO Speedwagon, STAGECOACH FESTIVAL!! Tooooo cooool!!Love to dance, travel, flirt, write, take road trips, entertain, cook, help, do ANYTHING spontaneous and off the wall, just for reaction!
God - I think he's planning on retiring, and my life is actually a job interview!
I enjoy most all music, except rap & hip hop. Die hard classic rock n roll fan - never into "bubble gum" or "top 40" - recently was brought into the world of country by one of my kids significant others, and find myself bouncing back and forth between 96.7 and 95.1 - Genre' confused 50 year old broad?
Brigadoon, My Fair Lady, Funny Girl, What's up Doc?, Ghost, Gigi, Sound of Music, ANY MUSICAL... but mostly too hyper to watch movies - gotta keep moving!
Haven't watched TV in a year and a half - Just started again, realizing I haven't missed much. I do ctually enjoy suspense and light comedy. Passionately dislike Reality TV, and tasteless shock - I have no interest in observing people at their most base. I think that television and movies are supposed to be fantasies, to take us to a place, or an emotion, or a height we've not been, or not frequented enough. We've all experienced base, and I, for the most part, find that it makes me uncomfortable to witness someone else's desperation, and that I don't especially enjoy people who enjoy watching that, either.

Kids who try to ride their bikes without holding on...the guy who came in second and can't wait to tell you how great the race was...the underdog with the fortitude to take the field again, time after time...the broken kid that puts a smile on his face everyday...those that stand beside you even when they can see what you are unable to, until your vision clears...
