About Me

Natiwel (AKA NTR-L) is an experienced, multi-talented artiste born on the tropical island Iouanalao (more commonly known as St. Lucia), where her first language is Creole, hence the name 'Natiwel', which translates to 'Natural' in English. Natiwel’s passion for music and the spoken word is inherent, a genetic trait twinned with her father’s (who himself is a renowned and established artiste).Formerly known to audiences as XIB, Natiwel has had considerable performing experience, and is an innovative songwriter - not to mention a significant team developer and qualified teacher/educator. Nurtured and guided by some of the GREATEST Elders in the Business, Natiwel takes great pride in her ability to wire her teachings through music. Her knack for expressive and progressive writing extends to poetry and novels. Whilst currently juggling work on an up-coming collaborative album and her second career (teaching), Natiwel endeavours to work towards her first novel… this is underway NOW! Information on the progress of her novel can be obtained by checking or subscribing to the ‘Blog’ on this OFFICIAL space, where updates will be posted.As one of the key founders and member of the group KREATIV KLAN, Natiwel is part of a collective force who, via sound, open up an unorthodox and explosive dimension to “the thing called m.u.z.i.k.”.
