Smokehouse

Inactive:Smokehouse is a 5-piece band made up of college students from Morgantown West Virginia. We play a high energy style of punk with influences including ska, reggae, hardcore, metal, jazz, and a twist of West Virginia style. All members of Smokehouse have multiple years of musical experience, we have all been in some successful rock bands, from West Virginia, such as 69 Fingers, Fido, and Richard’s Anger. Our musical experience is not limited to our own bands, with all of our members having played other styles of music. Four of us were members of the West Virginia University marching band. Our bass player was a former music major and has a minor in musical studies. Our lead singer was on full scholarship for choral performance at Alderson-Braddaus. All of us have been in school jazz bands, show choirs, orchestra pits, or other theatrical music. Our mission is to spread our music to as many people as possible in hopes of exposing everyone to this style and creating fans of the music we all love.
