FES ROC!!!

Fes Roc style may be considered a hustle to the rap game but it’s a customize contribution to the Detroit hip hop scene. Hailing from Plymouth Roc on Detroit’s Westside Fes Roc begin penning rhymes in 5th grade. In high school Fes Roc was one of the founding members of a rap group called F. O. D (Fingers of Death) w/ following members Mischief, Red, Phil, and Elzhi. Fes Roc and the rest of the F.O.D. band members were also apart of Detroit’s legendary HIP HOP SHOP along w/ such artist as Phat Kat, 5 Ella, D.J. Houseshoes, D.J. Dez, 31 Flavors, Biochemists, D12, and Slum Village. F. O. D. stormed the college scene w/ their single called “2 pencils,” that became the number one requested song on college radio. With their dynamic college hit the group got their first break when they skip school to attend Howard University hip hop summit in Washington D.C. along w/the likes of artists such as Mos Def, Redman, and Common etc. In the late 90’s members of F.O.D. decided to pursue solo careers w/Fes finding other avenues to contributing to Detroit Hip Hop scene w/promotions and writing rhymes. After gaining the respect of his peers urging him to get back into the rap game Fes Roc recorded one of the hottest tracks to Nick Speeds D-Tour album “Glisten” which landed performances opening for Octane and Illite and Little Brother. Fes single also attributed to him scoring a guest appearance on fellow F.O.D. and new Slum Village member Elzhi “The Preface” album. Fes still continues to thrive contributing to the Detroit’s Hip Hop scene by adding a new sound to the streets for his fans. Fes is also one of the founding members of Kic Sounds Entertainment along w/fellow members Illite, D-Roc, Zhao-Ski, Leef and Octane. Fes Roc continues to climb in his career by releasing his EP “Audio Visual” and his anticipated album “Customize Hustle.” Check out these joints that feature FES ROC:
