A couple things; "Mark 12:30-34" it's not about where you have been or what you have done, but it's about where you are going and what you are going to do. I read somewhere that; "HELL is you meeting the person you could have become". Everybody fails and everybody will make mistakes, but it's more about how you react to those failures and mistakes that will determine where you end up in life. You control your own ATTITUDE, no one else. Sounds like an easy concept, but once you grasp it you'll never be the same. "I am never down, I am either up or getting up." (J.Maxwell)
