A tone deaf beat programmer, sample stealer, acapella user, sarcastic humor & bad mood provider, thats how Romeo Ugalde describes himself.
Born in Arizona, raised in Mexico & currently living in Miami, Romeo better known as Revinant & formerly 1/3 of the S.Junkes
(alongside with Marco Balcazar& Eduardo Pinto) presents his solo project called The Midnight Perverts. A project focused in live presentations which
was born from the necessity to create music fullfill with energy & dynamic that a true live act represents. With a style of acid tech house with a
touch of retro and break beat, Romeo, unlike the new breed of live acts use not only a laptop but a several equipment like synthezisers, effects
processors and midi controllers to obtain his objective by giving a true show to the audiences both visual & musicalwise.
As far as his productions, in the spring of the 2006 his remix of Rouzbeh Delavari - Think Inspiration was released
by the romanian label Only Records; aswell his track called "Fakiu" gets signed to Jeff Belfi's Ascension Records. Advance Synergy released "Communication"
a maxi cd with "Sex Play" remixed by The Midnight Perverts.
His musical roots are filled with a huge variety of genres & styles, bands like Orbital, Hybrid, Tool, Nine Inch Nails, Atari Teenage Riot,
DJs like Dj T, Lee Burridge, Jesse Rose, producers like Andy Page, Martin Buttrich, Samim, Claude Vonstroke, Jay Haze among others have a huge
influence on his musical taste.
Romeo is working in the studio, programming & rearranging the structure of both of his live projects & 2007 is looking to be a great year
with 3 remixes already produced & 2 going strong for labels like Advance Synergy, Mestiza & others.
