Steve Knopfer

About Me

Steve Knopfer was born in Richmond VA in October 1962; the only child to a Conservative Jewish family. He Was Bar-Mitzva'd at the age of thirteen after attending Hebrew School, and lived in today's standards, a relatively normal life. In 1982 Steve was in a car accident that left him paralyzed from his waist down. A piece of sacrum had broken off and severed the nerves in Steve's back. After spending months in the Hospital and in a Wheel Chair, God miraculously gave him back his legs. God revealed Himself to Steve several times over the course of the next ten years, however it wasn't until 1992 that the truth set him free. After having the same dream seven nights in a row, Steve sought medical help. The dream was that he was lying in a hospital bed dying and a little old lady was reading to him out of the Bible. Sure that he was going to die, Steve made an appointment for a complete physical examination. After being told there was nothing physically wrong with him, he realized he was dying spiritually! After talking to many Pastors trying to find the truth he found a little old man, at a very small Church, who in a very gruff manner, told Steve there was only one way to go to heaven and that was by putting his faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Today, Steve Knopfer is a Born Again Jewish Believer who offers valuable insight into the Word of God. He is a published author, an accomplished musician, an educated teacher and a dynamic speaker who is a vibrant and charismatic minister that has led many to a deeper understanding of the "Word of God."
