OKyoUandI am JON. If you'd truly like to know what I'm like hit my friends up below, and they'll tell you. I always felt that you get a true idea of how somebody is when you hear it from the people that know that person. BUTT, if I had to say something about myself it's that eye do knot have much too say...ever, butt when I due listen because it mite bee important...Ore knot. I'm a dreamer, observer, dork, weirdo, laid back, genuine, actor, stupendous, and up for anything. I believe that each day I want to improve myself in all aspects that make me a well balanced person. I also realize that I will most likely suck at anything I try for the first time, and that humility shows me that there is a lot in the world that I don't understand, and that there is too much to understand everything in this world with what little time we have. I'm the type of person who thinks I could do anything, but when I actually try it's another story...most of the time I succeed but there are those occassions where I look like an total ASS. And my boy, GT, says if he had to describe me it would be that, "Okui's F*cking NUTS!!!" But seriously, I'm not really that nuts. Well, on another note, I also had the honor to be in a great independent short film, "Day of Independence" and it was about the Japanese Internment Camps during WWII. I want to take this time to thank all, the forefathers and the foremothers, who endured the terrible time of the internment camps to pave the way for the coming generations, OUR generation. To the ones who made GARDENS in the desert...THANK YOU. So, all I could say is that I'm just an individually simple guy...Jon...Okui-WHAT!?!

My Interests

I like anything that makes me think in multiple layers, and I like to observe people and to see how they interact with their surroundings, or even with each other. I am interested in how the mind works. What makes each person do what they do? What type of perception that person has when they see something? I'm interested in how some people are able to make art that are considered "masterpieces", and how that artist is able to leave their emotional state in their artwork which others are able to feel as well. I am interested in the how fast the mind works, and that how a writer could create a wonderful world with just words. I am also interested in what my full potential as a person could be. What if we used more than 20% of our brain? Could we use telekinesis? Could we unlock certain parts of our brain? I am interested in how our subconscious guides our behavior more than we realize through our predjudices and bias'. These are some of the things that interest me in the world. The mind is amazing and novel.

Vampires, Werewolves, Vlad Tempest, Drizzt Do'Urden, Cleopatra, Spiderman in the black suit, Johnny Depp, Gambit, Kobe Bryant, Donnie Yen, Leonardo Da Vinci, Genghis Khan, Miyamoto Masamune, Malcolm Gladwell, Krishnamurti a very wise man with no formal education who has amazing insight on the world and with humans, my great, great grandparents, and their parents, and their parents, and their parents, and so on...

Music:

If it's good put it to my ear, but I tend to listen to Hip Hop, Oldies from the 1960s, Classical, Alternative, Rock, and some other genres. I have in my car Kanye West, N.W.A., Cranberries, Green Day, Thelonious Monk and John Coltrane, Braveheart Soundtrack, Radiohead, Space, Biggie, 2Pac, The Game, Eminem, Dr. Dre, The Doors, Outkast, Black Sabbath, System of the Down, and some more.

Movies:

Life's a movie...Day of Independence. A short film about the Japanese-American Internment camps. Braveheart, Crybaby, Matrix, City of God, Desperado, Tombstone, Spaceballs, Requim for a Dream, Harlem Nights, Willow, Lord of the Rings, Anime, Pirates of the Carribbean, A beautiful Mind, King Arthur, Cinderellaman, Last of the Mohicans, Menace II Society, Boys in the Hood, What's Eating Gilbert's Grape, and some more.
