Now moving along! :)~
My name is Ashlee and I will be 26 years old on April 12th 2010. I am 5'9" and 133 pounds. I have the tendency to be very loud. I get excited easily about little things. I also burp really loud and I'm proud about it! Around the right people I'm very perverted and I curse a lot but I can curb myself when needed :) I wear my heart on my sleeve. I'm full of love and affection. I can be clingy at times but I also love having my own space.
I recently decided to give up on the drug world because someone special helped me open my eyes- I am now almost 4 months sober from marijuana & drugs, and I have been alcohol free for 5 years come June 19th 2010. I had smoked weed daily for over 9 years, did pills here and there and coke randomly. I just quit it all cold turkey. I am realizing how hard it is being sober when most all my "friends" still do drugs. I guess I will have to deal with not having much of a social life now. I have discovered 2 new addictions though; SHOPPING and gambling at Hollywood Slots! WOO!! They are so much better then drugs ever were :)
I have a cat named Chaz. He turned 3 years old on December 23rd 2009 :) He meows a lot & meows LOUD! He loves to play with anything (cat toy or not) and he's really annoying but I don't mind! He will always be my baby kitty! I held him the day he was born and I think thats why we have such an amazing bond. He loves it when I rub his belly really hard. lol He's a tough boy! and he's HUGE! he's already 13 pounds! We snuggle together every night :)
I have been a vegetarian since I was 10 years old. I found a bloody bone in a chicken nugget and the meat was all bloody and it really messed me up for life! Over 15 years and I'm still going strong :) I do dairy though but do not care for eggs much. I just don't eat anything that once was alive and breathing.
I'm really big on family, and always believe that family comes first over anyone and anything. I love my Mother the most. We go to Starbucks at least once a day- but usually twice :) We've been doing this everyday for years now. I always get a venti Vanilla Chai latte. I also like hot mint smoothies from Tim Hortons and the Blueberry White Hot Chocolate from Dunkin Donuts.
My Mother runs a pet sitting business and I help her out when she overbooks. Sometimes its just walking dogs, or feeding some cats. Other times its staying over night and taking care of animals in other peoples homes. It's a lot of fun! I have pictures of some of the animals we take care of- so check them out!
I used to be a Telemarketer selling vacation packages April 2006-April 2008. It was starting to wear me down and emotionally I could not handle it anymore so I quit to save myself! Seeing as I was not working my friend asked me if I wanted to start babysitting her son. I said sure! It's been over 2 years now since I have been babysitting Gage :) He turned 2 years old August 14th 2009! He is so amazing and taking care of a child has really opened my eyes to the world, and made me a better person. My family adores Gage as well :)
I also randomly babysit Sylvia- She turned 2 years old on October 18th 2009. She is very adorable! I just started babysitting her summer of 2009 but we bonded very quickly. She calls me "Ashy" and I love her to death! She is the most gorgeous girl I've EVER seen!! I do overnights with her a lot and she means so much to me!
I moved home to my parents house after breaking up with my boyfriend of 5 years back in March of 2009. My cat and I adjusted well here quickly and life is so much easier this way! And when I say my "parents" I mean my mother and grandmother. They raised me. My Father is awesome though! I don't get to see him as much as I'd like but he's still the best Dad ever! :)
I like to go out to eat even though I probably should not eat all that crappy food lol. I love Subway! mmm veggie subs rule! I love Olive Garden! The salad is sooooo good. Happy China Buffet rules too. I like to get onion bagels with chive cream cheese from Dunkin Donuts. I can find something to eat pretty much anywhere I go which is hard for most vegetarians. I guess I eat a lot of junk food/candy though. Its my weakness!
I collect Converse All Star Chuck Taylors! I have 37 pairs so far :) I love my shoes!!! Having a ton of shoes makes it easy to match outfits! I have a shoe color to match just about anything at this point! I have pics of some of the pairs in my blog so check it out!
