Silverfish

Silverfish has been together for nearly three years. We characterize ourselves as a unique blend between modern indie- rock, and old style 90’s grunge. We have always done everything by ourselves. We record, rehearse and promote with no handouts or interference from anyone. We have just released our first EP titled “Dillid” and we are looking to play shows that are above the local level. So why book a grunge band from Jersey? I’ll tell you why, because we rock, plain and simple. See, while other bands have parties, and things to do to distract them from playing music, we don’t. There is nothing to do in Jersey. Music is all we have to stop ourselves from taking the closest blunt object and ramming it in are eye sockets to distract us from the endless sea of boredom in which we are constantly submerged. So you see, you could book a band from New York or even a different band from Jersey, and they might even be pretty good, or you could just sit there and in your underpants and eat Doritos (I don’t judge). But, sitting there in you underwear on a dirty sofa years from now, your fingers covered in artificial nacho cheese, you may look back and think, “You know? Maybe I should have booked that Silverfish band all those many years ago. Maybe then I wouldn’t have to steal crack from my parents to sell to kids to pay off my wife’s pimp. Maybe then he’d give my dog back.” In closing, please book us. You are the only thing standing between us, and the mass killing of everyone we know because of clinical insanity brought on from sheer boredom. We are a good band… we promise. In the immortal words of president FDR “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself”, and in the not so immortal words of one John Clancey “we rock, plain and simple”. In the end there is really only on question to ask your self, why shouldn’t I book this band …I wouldn’t know, I’m not you (but if I was I would definitely book us).
