The Spins, as they are today, have been together for close to 4 years. Aside, Sam, Jonathan, and George have been playing music together since they were in the 8th grade - with a true rock foundation. Jonathan has played piano since he was 6 and Sam, at an early age, was an obvious natural at writing songs that are comprehensive, yet display a powerful lyrical simplicity. George has always been the heartbeat behind the music, adding the needed energy that is fresh and overwhelmingly powerful. Chase eventually joined, and brought an entirely new style...including many electronic instruments in which he used to display an array of expiramental tones that have shaped the sound of The Spins.
