A simple dispute turned into murder on Nov. 17 when a Hempstead woman was arrested for stabbing and killing another woman she was arguing with, according to Nassau County police. The suspect, 20 year-old Tanisha Floyd, while in front of her house at 207 Long Beach Rd., was involved in what police describe as an altercation with the victim, Sadenai Winston, at about 12:40 A.M. During the quarrel, Floyd reportedly took out a knife and stabbed 19 year-old Winston. Police then arrived at the scene and arrested Floyd while Winston was rushed to Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Center, where she was pronounced dead at 1:36 a.m. Floyd was arraigned yesterday under a charge of second-degree murder. She is being held on $150,000 bond or $75,000 cash bail.
