Music- Mariah Carey is awesome!
Books- I read constantly in all genres.
Food - I love good vegetarian food.
Travel - I travel every chance I get and, through my job, I help others travel abroad too!
Friends- I have lots of acquaintances and a few close friends. They are very, very important to me.
Public Allies- The most fabulous organization I have ever worked with. I'm so proud to be alum and I wish that everyone could do a year of service with Public Allies (or two). http://www.publicallies.org
I'd like to meet:
The same guy that a lot of other females are looking for! Someone who is kind but not too sweet, self sufficient but able to communicate well, loves his mama but not too much, has a car and a job, loves children and pets, has personal and professional goals,etc.
Music:
I listen to many, many different types of music and have lots of favorites.
Movies:
I love to go to the movies. I like all kinds of movies except horror. Best movie I've seen this year - March of the Penguins (forgive me, I watch a lot of PG movies right now).
Television:
Before my daughter, I watched television a lot. Now, not so much, but I still have my favorite shows. I am a game show fanatic and I love watching poker championships. I also love Discovery Health and the BBC.
Books:
I read every day and love all genres. My favorite books are generally in Science Fiction and Fantasy. Although I read everything I can get my hands on. Favorite books this year - Time Travelers Wife, Eragon, Eldest, Stephanie Plum series (mystery), The moon by whalelight.
Heroes:
My mama! She is a fantastic woman who raised two daughters by herself, got a college education, and continues to amaze me! My sister Mary is also pretty special too. She has overcome lots of adversity and has become a responsible, creative, and beautiful woman.
