WHAT IS NIPPON GROOVE?
Nippon Groove is a weekly radio show dealing with Japanese music. It started in 2005 and it is broadcasted on every Saturday, from 09:00 CET ever since on Tilos Radio, Hungary's oldest and most important independent radio station. The show tries to give an as complete as possible overview of Japan's music scene, so it is usually quite eclectic and features basicly every kind of music that exists in the country... Pop, Hip-hop, Garage-rock, Techno, Reggae, Jazz, Noise, Shibuya-kei, Dancehall, Industrial, House, Experimental, Acid Jazz, Disco, Visual kei, Ambient, Dubstep, Noise rock, New-wave, Hard Core, Breakbeat, Gothic rock, GS, Drum'n'Bass, Indie-rock, R'n'B, Enka, Ska, Trance, Dub, Punk and so on and on...
From time to time there are also thematic show, concentrating on a specific style or artist.
