You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life." ~ Albert Camus i recently came across the above quote, gave it much thought and realized how true it can be....if youre always in the search for perfect happiness and the 'ideal' way of living, you just might miss the perfect opportunities, people and adventures that come into your life. i yearn to travel and educate myself about everything i possibly can. i am always learning and exploring because theres just too much out there to discover but never enough time and money.i hold a degree, a diploma and a certificate. my educational background consists of: economics and asian area studies, fashion merchandising and design, and 2D design. i'd have to say that i am well educated but it does not mean i am a bookworm. i love learning languages that people normally do not learn. Ja, jag talar svenska and ik spreek Nederlands! Oddly enough, i speak swedish and have been taking lessons in Dutch. i am fluent in cantonese too and ive also taken japanese and french before. but alas, my mind can only hold so much vocab. i love music..listening to and playing different instruments. Djing and the electronica scene has always been a big part of my life...but recently i've really become fascinated on perfecting my mixin' and djing skills. i love anything to do with fine arts...they are my creative outlets. i draw, sketch and paint...in particular, chinese painting..i love designing from fashion to graphics. i also knit and crochet..theyre not just for grannies :P i like to keep active and maintain a healthy diet...i am a pesco-vegetarian :) I love my family and friends and i will do anything for them...well, just about anything. hee.READ ME: yellodoes.livejournal.com (nothing in particular, just entries when im bored or excited about some dj hitting the town or my private thoughts...but those are the private entries. :P )Behind that innocent looking exterior, those who know me would say that i can be very opinionated and i tend to express my feelings on things quite openly and frequently...in other words, im just blunt sometimes. my theory is that why keep it in when you can just express yourself? i believe in honesty and the truth and i only expect the same out of others (am i asking too much?? haha) but then again, ignorance is bliss...
