Darren Hill is a Songwriter born in Wales (UK) who started his music career in late 2000.
Following his success with his first commercial hit "Seven Days" (co-written with Mark Hill / Craig David and performed by Craig) he started his own production company (Darren Hill Productions Ltd)
Darren is currently busy working on music for TV / Film which has always been a passion of his from the start.
Darren also has an extensive back catalogue of music that he has been writing over the past several years.
In May 2001 Darren was nominated and won an Ivor Novello "Best Contemporary Song" for his track "Seven Days". Also for the same song he was honoured at the ASCAP 2003 Pop Awards in Los Angeles and the ASCAP / PRS awards in London.
Darren has developed a larger career plan which involves writing for TV and Film as mentioned previously and which also involves Darren writing song's for more artists. Darren feels not only confident in writing for established artists of the moment but also has a keen interest in developing new and unsigned artists. He has and will be continuing to collaborate on many projects with other songwriters.
