About Me

MySpace Backgrounds
Well... I'm into TV and Film and currently getting my career off the ground, and I'm writing a sitcom...very slowly! I listen to loads of good music and like going to gigs. I love music festivals! Reading, IOW and Guilfest last year, and Glasto this year one way or another! I love to spend time with my friends and generally have a good laugh.

My Interests

I'm interested in a lot of stuff, life, the universe and everything but I don't have time to do much about it, only think about it. Perhaps one day i'll make a film about it? I like making tv & radio shows, and making films.

I'd like to meet:

I guess it would be cool to go out for a pint with Michael Palin, Dave Ghrol, James Hetfield (well, all of Metallica really) Noel Gallagher, Bill Bryson, Homer (Simpson), Spielberg, Jean-Pierre Jeunet... I'm sure that there are way more interesting people to meet but they would be a good start! Besides, people are interesting full stop really.I would quite like to meet James Blunt and encourage him to take a vow of silence. Failing that I might just hit him with a shovel...sorry James.Your results:

Music:

Woah, not enough space here so i'll just mention a few artists & genres I like. Listen to XFM, Radio 1 (Steve Lamaq, Zane Lowe and Moyles) I mainly like Rock, Punk, Ska, Indie, Soul, and Metal although I'll try anything out to see if it fits.Love people like Metallica, Incubus, Lost Prophets, Placebo, Blondie, Foo Fighters, Rage, Nirvana, Maiden, Stapleton, Hundred Reasons, The Killers, Oasis, Blink 182, The Beatles, Coldplay, The Who, The Kinks, Morrissey, The Smiths, Radiohead, Libertines, Rancid, Levellers, Led Zeplin, The Doors, Bob Dylan, Kenelis, Dashboard Confessional, R.E.M, Muse, Queen, Dire Straits, Fuel, Bush, Semisonic, Seahorses, Idlewild, Stereophonics, Manic Street Preachers, The Verve, Greenday, BRMC, Squeeze, U2, Sting, White Stripes, Ash, Ryan Adams, Richard Cheese, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Lit ... the list goes on, and I've definitely forgotten some of the best ones. And im listeneing to a whole load of new stuff every day... just for the hell of it! Currently in the CD player - Radio 1 Live Lounge which is most excellent and Regina Spektor, great stuff I love the song Samson its beautiful. Gigs lined up so far this year are: Hundred Reasons, Regina Spektor, Incubus, Metallica and Muse (The first concert at Wembley!) as well as these I expect I will be going to Glastonbury, Reading and any other festivals that take my fancy...

Movies:

Favourite film at the moment is The Shawshank Redemption I'll never get tired of it. I've seen some decent foreign films; Run Lola Run, Delicatessen, Pan's Laberynth, Amlie, Nikita, Battle Royale can't think of them off hand! I study films, make films and wanna make more (when I have the money). I go to the movies a lot and watch as many as I can. Recently seen Hot Fuzz, very funny I thought (if not a little slow to start), The Departed, well deserved for best picture and director I think. Saw the new Bond, great! Daniel Craig; what an absolute ledge! The Prestige was awesome and couldn't believe how great 'Night at the Museum' was! I think that anyone would agree: A stand out performance by Dick Van Dyke amongst the all star cast! Hehe! Its an 80s revival here at the moment so we've got Flight of the Navigator! Uncle Buck, Batteries Not Included, Coccoon & the sequel, Splash, Overboard, Running Man...the list goes on! I just bought Short Circuit, Short Circuit 2 ,Teen Wolf and a load of quality cartoons such as Trapdoor and Bananaman on DVD...awesome!There are loads of seriously important movies I have never seen and loads of really great movies which I have forgotten to write down which would make you think, this guy likes some great films, never mind I'll add em later!Cant wait til the new Indiana Jones has been made, Harrison Ford...what a ledge! Hmm, I keep saying ledge that could be wrong.

Television:

You've got to love How its Made on the Discovery channel, of course anything with Ray Mears or The late ledge Steve Irwin in it has to be good aswell! Im currently watching some cool stuff from the US: Prison Break, The Sopranos, Deadwoood etc. I can be bothered with Lost! So far I have managed not to learn anything about it so I'm doing well, it also means that if one day I do decide to watch it I won't know whats going to happen!! I love 24 but its hard to get people to shut up about what happens in season 4 and 5 cos i'm watching 3 at the moment (Kiefer Sutherland = ledgeI love lots of comedy on TV. Love cartoons like South Park, The Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, King of The Hill, Tom and Jerry, 2D TV, Creature Comforts and Pigeon Street!Real comedy shows I love are, Black Books, Father Ted, Teachers, Red Dwarf, Coupling, Game On, Bottom, The Young Ones, Seinfeld, Cheers, Frasier, Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens...Love watching documentaries about random stuff I know nothing about, hate REALITY TV, when im in charge of TV its gone!

Books:

Trying to read: Flight From Deathrow - Harry Hill, it's a lot of hard work because Harry Hill is barking mad and he pretty much goes off at a new tangent with every new chapter. Very random and funny though.Just read: Rebel Without a Crew - Rob Rodriguez - an excellent book, very inspiring.Love Roald Dahl what a genius that guy was! Like Shakespeare and Dickens although havent read enough of them, Bill Bryson, Tolkien, Michael Moore...My Favourite poem is 'IF' by Rudjard Kipling.I really want to read a lot of books on my shelf and don't get round to it that often as I need to do other things and can't concentrate! I recently read 'Join Me' by Danny Wallace and its brilliant...so read it now! and 'The Dice Man' by Luke Reinhart, also very good and peppered with sleaze!

Heroes:

I must have something to learn from everyone but I reckon some people are just great; Phill Silvers (Sgt Bilko) a complete comedy genius, Bill Bailey really intelligent bloke and tallented, My Family cos they're great I wouldn't swap them, Marilyn Manson as despite him being into some seemingly really weird stuff he seems like an intersting bloke and causes a lot of people to react in different ways. I think that if a God exists they would be pretty much a hero or an anti-hero or something but they probably don't so i'll forget that. Not heroes: Most politicians (Is it just me or does this job attract tossers? Surely they should get off their asses and start solving some serious problems in the world?)

My Blog

You ever get that feeling?

Ok, so you can picture it: you've just watched Point Break, Swayze is outstanding, Reeves is awesome...you're on a high.  You go to bed and see that you've left your computer on and you think 'I'...
