Hello, My name is Aaron Evans. I do about 8 million different kinds of art. (Poetry, Blowing Glass, Spining, Painting/Drawing, Sound Engineering, Graphic Design, Promotion *it is an art*, Crocheting, and I even like to dance my little 2 step when i get moved by good music. Its kind of out of control but whatever.) I bought my first set of decks in 1995 after my best friend decided to rob my house as initiation into the local gang and i collected a nice insurance check. This would be the moment i would say that Hip Hop culture kinda saved my life as i chose to start to walk a new path. In September of 2001 I was overdosed on prescription drug by a negligent doctor and went crazy. In that madness I started Dove Ink records a D.I.Y. focus label with my life long friend Illogic and started making beats soon afterwords. (thats some real shit huh??)In 2008 i decided that i wanted to start using my own voice and sharing my own visions with the world and finaly decided to take what had been flowing out of my pen and put it over the new era of beats i had started creating. At this point of my life i just want my art to be a reflection of my past, present and furture, an open book looking for inquisitive minds, a through back to when art came from the heart. From inner city street corners to hippie festivals to collage campus's i hope to share something that anyone can relate to....This its going to be shocking honest before its all said and done....(I mean look at just that first paragraph..)
You may know me from my past work under the names Claude 9 and Eyamme as i worked with The Green Brothers, Illogic, Ill Poetic, Davu, Racecar, Inform/Bern One, Lord 360, E Roc, Taj, Smoke Clear, Elevate, Bee Line ect. ect. ect......Or from one of the many show I've been a part of oon tour around the United States and here in my home town of Columbus, Ohio, with a loooong list of artist that i feel bless to have shared the stage with.
I've also been lucky enough to get some cool press from Okay Player, Hightimes, Skunk Magaizine, Tastes like Chicken, CD Babay, Remix Magazine, The Other Paper, Alive, Melt, Ect, ect, ect...

I make both vocal and instrumental tracks so heres a little sample of whats been cooking up in the lab. The next 18 months is going to be a lot of fun for all of us.
