Nelson aka Mod,founder of what is destined to be a successful hip-hop production team(Mod-Productions) has been on his grind since the age of 11.It all started....around the age of 10...he would come home everyday to hear his brother (Wayne) and,cousin's rapping all the time to beats that they would download off the internet.At the time Mod was a game head....so,after hearing so many beats all the time..he decided that's what he wanted to do.So,for his 11th birthday..his mom(Tammy) brought him a game for the playstation console ''Music Generator'' that made music.From that game....he learned all the basics about producing...like...BPM,Bars,Kicks,Snares......all the basics! Then,from that he brought ''Music Generator 2'' himself....after putting his radio by the t.v. so he could record his beat off there....and,making low-quality songs off of tapes...he was introduced to a program called Fruity Loops...which is now called FL Studio!...and,after like a year of having that program....he started to get business because,the beats weren't on tapes anymore...now cd's! So,at the age of 14...Mod selling his first few beats to a local rap group in town started a little buzz!After producing most of their album...he started meeting a few new people...that was rapping and,starting on projects.At that time Mod was selling beats for $15-$20.....around 2003 alot of local rap groups started forming and,was buying beats.That's around the same time they started their own rap group...''House-Arrest Productionz''.That group featured artists such as(Mod,Wayne,Charles,Lance)They collaborated with artist(Harold Keith)..who help them put their first few songs together.During 2003-2004 they were just recording songs....but,around the 3Q of 2004 they decided that all those songs they have...they should just do an album.May 5,2005 House Arrest drops their debut cd ''Da First Time Around'' Mod always said that they were just doing this for fun so,that album was free. All tracks were produced by Mod except one.... As of right now...Mod is soon to be working with an up and coming major artist.
