About Me

hmmm, well let's see... my guidance counselor said i was from THE FUTURE... to which i replied... "i knew you were going to say that."

ART SHOW COMING UP AT THE BOOK-N-BEAN...

follow this link to my website at - http://web.mac.com/patrick304
anyone wanna help a brother out and post this link on their page, just copy and paste this silly mumbo-jumbo right here:

My Interests

i like to draw.

...and for all you suckahs out there - 2 words:
PING PONG WORLD CHAMPION! that's right, fools!... wait, that was 3 words. dang! anyways... moving on!

i love to read, watch lotsa movies, listen to all kinds of music.

i've got the sweetest dog on GAWD's green earth. her name is miss django. she's a chocolate lab. django, myspace. myspace, django. i know, right? adorable. what else? hmmm, you're inquizitive. well, there's oh so much more.. but i gotta.. um, go do... something.

I'd like to meet:

melissa theuriau... and... nope, just melissa theuriau will do.

Music:

wow, i'm sure everyone writes, "i'm into everything." so, i will say - ... i'm into everything. kidding. i'm not all that into hiphop (just not for me) and i don't listen to all that much yoddling (once again, just not for me... well, maybe sometimes.)

honestly, i only listen to genesis. 24/7, man.

no. for real: there are two kinds of music; wilson phillips... and everyone else. respect!

ok, enough clowning around.
i'll give you a comprised list: beatles, beck, interpol, neil diamond, white stripes, tom petty, the features, the futureheads, the magic numbers, flaming lips, rusted root, nico, leonard cohen, the subways, the yeahyeahyeahs, foo fighters, miles, alison kraus, arcade fire, muse, arctic monkeys, the monk, dizzie, mr. parker, dave brubek, chet atkins, django, badly drawn boy, ben folds, johnny cash, loretta lynn, miss dolly parton, beth orton, giant drag, stereolab, bill whiters, blonde redhead, damian rice, the decemberists, eels, fiona apple, frank, franz, fugazi, the hollies, imogen heap, jeff buckley, jon spencer blues explosion, LCD, mars volta, matisyahu, mogwai, nick drake, nick cave, tom waits, norah jones, nouvelle vague, patrick park, !... ah hell - you get the idea.

Movies:

there is not enough space on all the internet... even if you doubled it and folded it over on itself. yeah, i'm sick like that.

Television:

not much of a tv guy... but i do like - seinfeld, lost, curb your enthusiasm, scrubs, sopranos, freaks&geeks, robotchicken, heroes, the office...and the fall guy. full respect to Mr. Majors.

crap.
i just said i wasn't much of a tv guy and then listed like twenty shows i watch. i guess i'm sorta a tv guy... but, as you have probably guessed: i am definitely not a math guy.

Books:

will self is one wacky dude. i love his brain. bukowski (one story is really all you need, but they're all pretty good). oscar wilde (the writing in dorian gray will make you smile and flinch at the same time), vonnegut (anything and everything), james joyce (i've only read the dubliners - but, i was impressed), hg welles (the island of dr. moreau was incredibly entertaining), philip k dick, tom robbins, chuck palahniuk, irvine welsh, elmore leonard, carl sagan. i just read things fall apart (good and economical) and franny&zooey (slow in plot, but excellent character studies). heart of darkness = i can't really see what francis ford was smoking. bourdain's kitchen confidential will curl your teeth. i recommend both of malcolm gladwell's books to anyone (blink and tipping point) they are amazing! (on those same lines, also read - phil dusenberry's "then we set his hair on fire" - especially if you are in graphics!) however, i'm not a literary snob - i love stephen king and anne rice or whatever strikes my fancy ... whatever that phrase means.
anyways, i likes me some read'in.

Heroes:

my parents top the list. my sisters tie for secondthrid.abe lincoln had a kick'in beard. my man, andre here -
