Heya, I'm Heather.Seven years ago I married Curtis and four years ago we had a daughter, Lela who is named for my Great Grandmother Lela.We live somewhere between Gresham and Portland in a little old house that needs to be either fixed up or torn down. We love it though and so we're fixing it up slowly. We have a very full house with the three of us, two dogs, a cat, a roomate (Tom), and on weekends his son, Trent.I'm a Preschool teacher and I love to work with kids, though I really want to teach PreKindergarten.
I grew up here in the the greater Portland area with a great family. My parents and grandparents all live very near us and absolutely rock, though I only came to that conclusion after having my own little one.
My family adopted me when I was very little and I have recently met my birth family, whom I still see, a sister, a brother and a mother.I am a book nut and will read anything with pages (can't stand reading online books) but I really love romance novels, which are like candy for the brain, and sci-fi/ fantasy.I'm also one of those ultra-rare creatures that one hears rumors of....a girl gamer geek. My high school friends got me into role-playing games and now my husband runs a game for me and I run one for him and a few of our friends. Every once in a while we get online and play an MMORPG.My husband and I attend Hillsview Community Church with some of our really good freinds. It's a very small, non-denominational church in Damascus with a great minister and a great congregation. We also have a bible study with my parents and grandparents each week which can get quite interesting since the men of the group have rather jouvenile senses of humor and giggle like schoolgirls whenever anyone (mainly them) mentions a dirty word or subject.
I have been blessed with a great family, great husband, a stuborn but wonderful daughter and some amazing friends. All in all, life is good.
