I'm an optimistic person who tries to give the benefit of the doubt to all, even those who seem to obsviously be in the wrong. I understand that we all make mistakes and we all wish we were better people and hope to learn from our mistakes and lessons. Life is a gift that we should all learn to appreciate and realize is a gift that can be taken, literally, in a blink of an eye. I Love the family I have been blessed to grow with however small it is, my gratitude for having them is the exact opposite of small. Another thing that is the opposite of small is the amount of, not just friends, but great friends. Friends I've smiled and laughed with throughout my life. I have truly been blessed with some great friendships that I cherish always. Some may not be as close to me on a daily basis as once before and some are always a phone call away...... The things that make me happy in life are really quite simple.....I LOVE the beach. The sand in my toes, the way the suns' heat seems to talk to me when I close my eyes, the feeling of the water when it hits my skin, whether it's cool in April or warm in August. I Love the sound of all my guys and girls laughing at eachothers'silly jokes and the light (or serious) competition of a volleyball game under my guy, Mr' Sunshine on a crowded weekend. To me....that is heaven on earth........ Another simple thing I Love in life, and I'm sure many people will roll their eyes on this one, is growing up in this part of the country...yes, I admit...I Love Michigan City Indiana.....It's where my family resides, it's where most of my best friends live and most of all....it's just where most of my history is. (I'll be judged at a later date on that!! lol). I have lived a life filled with excitement and lessons and if I were to pass, I swear, I'd look back and smile and say thank you, that was fucking AWESOME!!! (can we do it again??!) lol..................I decided when I was young that I wanted to live a life without much responsibility, a life that bordered on IRresponsibility at times but the point is....it was my decision. I didn't want to be the guy who was married with children...not til I was sure that I was ready. I was able to fulfill that personal prophecy and as I look back I have no regrets.........Now, I am as happy as I have truly ever been in my life. I have met a girl who makes me smile, one who understands my complexity and simplicity. One who put up with me while I was out running wild but still had Love deep enough to feel that I was worth it, and I am eternally grateful...... I am closer to my immediate family than I have been since highschool and I have a job that I actually enjoy.........So, fortunately, somehow........I'm one happy guy!!!!
