Born in Kirkwall, Orkney, (UK) in Feb 1971 and lived in Orkney all my life. So I'm 100% pure Scots (Orcadian) "beef". I'm a bit of a smalltown boy and I like the pace of life here in Orkney. Sometimes though, the idea of moving somewhere else for a while does appeal - but generally the thought tends to ebb away again. I'm not sure I'd know where I'd like to move to anyway...
