About Me

I'm a native Oregonian and pretty proud of that. There's a reason people are moving here all the time - the mountains, the ocean, the seasons, the people. It really doesn't get much better than this. I love music - listening, playing, recording. I have a job that challeges me and pays me enough. Most importantly, I have some of the best friends that a guy could ever ask for. I love to travel and be adventurous. I've been to London, Ireland, France, St. Lucia, and most recently Honduras for a 10-day scuba diving trip. I didn't take any trips last year unfortunately - it's not easy to find people with the time and money to travel. I don't have any pets, but I keep thinking about getting a dog someday. Probably a Rottweiler/Lab mix. Anyway, that's a little bit about me. What's your story?

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who has their head on straight and their heart in the right place. And my grandfather if he's still around. And the jackass that keyed my buddy Gus' car.

The things we do

First of all, I might not the best person to be running around offering relationship advice.  I'm 34 years old, single, and have two strikes against me so far.  On the other hand, maybe I do...

Powder Hound

Someone asked me how the snow at Meadows was yesterday - the word 'perfect' comes to mind.  It was the kind of snow that you can't pack into a snowball to save your life and you don't s...

Happy New Year Everyone!

Went to dinner with my good friends Seth & Teresa & Theo last night.  Other than a couple dirty wine glasses and a belly ache that took three Tums to set back, it worked out pretty well.&...

"A Culture of Passivity"

My good friend Jenny sent me the following commentary by Mark Steyn this morning.  And since this is a blog, I suppose I should add my two cents instead of simply copying someone else's genius.&n...

$5 says you won't

Most of you out there who know me will readily admit that I'm a pretty smart guy.  And in using those smarts (which I credit directly to both my mother's genetic endowment as well as my disc...
