Die Robot Die crashed to earth sometime in the year 2003, maybe earlier...the reports are sketchy. They came about after observing that drunk people really like dancing to 80's jams, especially the womenfolk. Coming from a background of Punk, Rockabilly, and blood drinking Metal, the original members had no idea how to be a "cover" band. So the 80's covers they chose to play kind of took on a life of their own, and they decided to play the covers as if they had written the songs themselves. And since they were used to getting hit with bottles, cans, lit cigarettes, and anything else that wasn't nailed down in the punk rock venues, the bar circuit seemed a fine place to unsheathe their new wave fury. It was the perfect atmosphere for playing the soundtrack to their childhood, 80's new wave, pop, punk, and rock.
