Orange and Blue lets GO GATORS!!!!!!!!!!! I love sports! Yoga, and running (I finished my first 5K in 34:45, not bad for not training). Spending time with family and friends. Being around anyone who can make me laugh! Roller-coasters! Good conversation, good wine, beer, and coffe. Real people without drama. People who can teach me things. My GSC (Girls Supper Club). We rotate homes, each home the person cooks dinner, the rest of us bring a side or wine and we incorporate a book into the mix.
Stay in touch with friends and maybe meet some interesting new people.
My all time favorite is Don Henley, I love, love, love him! Although I think I enjoy almost all music. Soft Rock, Pop, Classic Rock, Country, Rock, Funk, Jazz, Blues, and Blue Grass (I try to stay away from the hard core Rap and Techno). I love listening to Folky style music like the Eagles, but I can get lost in artists like Joe Cocker, Sting, Marvin Gay, and Ray Charles. I enjoy a lot of the newer stuff from bands/artists like Maroon 5, Matchbox 20, Corrine Bailey Rae. Favorite local guy, Von Ra....saw him in the airport last week!
Life is Beautiful is my all time favorite. It's a must see if you plan on talking to me!! However...I love all sorts of movies including a good comedy, anything with Vince Vaughn (although I didn't like the Break-up)...he's one funny man! Swingers, My Blue Heaven, Office Space, Napoleon Dynamite, the Blues Brothers (Orange Whip...Orange Whip? Three Orange Whips) and Bruce Almighty are some of my favorite funny movies. I also love a good sappy love story like Dr. Zhivago, Somewhere in Time and I just saw Holiday and loved it. There is something magical about old movies like the Sound of Music, Singing in the Rain.
I DVR these shows: What About Brian, Entourage, Weeds, CSI, Monk, House, the Food Channel and the News. Family Ties is one of my all time favorite shows, but you also gotta love old re-runs of 70's game shows (Match Game). They just don't have shows like they did in the 70's on TV anymore. I grew up watching Johnny Carson, The Newlywed Game, Hee Haw, Sonny and Cher, Donnie and Marie. And who can forget Solid Gold and Dance Fever? Now that was some good TV time! I swear I was born in the wrong era...I should have been born in the 60's so I could have been dancing around on Dance Fever with a gay friend in a wrap around Danskin dress....~~HOT~~
Anything by Dan Brown, Marianne Williamson, Mitch Albom, or Alice Sebold. Memoirs Of A Geisha, The Bridges of Madison County, and Harry Potter books. Cook books - Tyler Florence (my husband, he just doesn't know it yet), Rachael Ray, and the Saveur cookbooks are some of my favorites. Reading now...
