| View Show | Create Your OwnI'm originally from Elmira, NY. We moved here when I was about 11, so I pretty much grew up in Central Florida. I have a wonderful family and spend time with them as often as I can. I have a sister that lives in Germany and the rest of my family (my parents, aunt & uncle and cousins) live here in town. I try to see my parents at least once a week. Life is too short to not enjoy time with family.Because my sister lives in Europe I don't get too see her as often, but I try to go visit with her as often as possible. I've been to several different countries and hope to add a few more over the next few years. Once she moves back I'll visit more great places here in the states. I think I've been to about 1/2 of the US states, but am missing some key spots like Hawaii and Alaska. I love the water but find so much peace in the mountains. Colorado and Washington state are two of my favorite places. I also was able to visit Montana for work a few years ago and loved it. Would be a nice place to buy some land and retire to.I love travel, seeing new things and experiencing different cultures. I recently went back to Europe to see my sister who lives in West Germany (I managed to go three times last year).Check out my sister's website: http://www.thebradleys.atomicshops.comShe's been taking photography classes...it's worth taking a look.I enjoy watching live sports (got to watch a Cubbies game from a rooftop bar last May, so much fun), love the Gators (did I mention that?), went to three games last year, but really love to watch all types of sports. Not only do I love sports but I understand most of the games I watch! I have a personal interest in yoga, running, skiing (both snow and water). Would love to learn to play tennis and golf. I consider myself to be athletic and coordinated...so I might just do okay!I love almost all types of food, Thai and Italian topping the list. To drink, a good home-made Mojito, vanilla vodka and pineapple juice, or vodka and fresh squeezed grapefruit are my favorites! My favorite bar in the states is a dive in Chicago called the Matchbox. It's a TINY little place, when you open the door, the door smacks right into the seats at the bar. It's about as wide as a trailer, and long and narrow just like one too. If you go, it's a must to order the Vodka Gimlet...the best gimlet that will ever touch your lips. I need to try to make these at home....I was lucky enough to flirt my way into getting the recipe.I'm a bit of a coffee, beer and wine snob. Coffee...I love the good stuff like Illy, Cuban coffee or even a good French coffee. Around here I do like Starbucks and Barnies (although I usually get iced coffee). Beer, dad taught me well...NO CLEAR BEER (from the states anyway). Belgium beer has the best in the world according to my buds...something about their tiny bubbles and they are just full of flavor! And wine...well, with a wine shop in the family, it's hard to drink cheap or should I say, inexpensive wine. Favorites: I love a great Cabernet or Pinot Noir, but I've grown to really enjoy chateauneuf de pape (brought a bottle home with me from Europe). I like crisp whites, Sav Blanc, Pinot Blanc (Grigio)....and I love some gooooood Champagne. I stay AWAY from Chards and White Zins, ick.I have the best girlfriends in the world. We go out, go on trips and always find time to do things together. We've just went our for our THRID ANNUAL WIG NIGHT! Boy was it fun, check out the pix! We have also had a RED HOT MAMAS night, gone to Vegas, SOBE, NYC, Chicago, Tampa, and have even been known to hang downtown for a little dancing or even going to a sporting event. I love my girls and am very blessed to have such wonderful, caring and passionate friends. My girlfriends and I go to various charity events or host events. Please check out the Charity Chicks site thanks to Vikki:www.charitychicksorlando.comI am a friendly, outgoing person. My friends would say I am fun to be around and can be pretty witty. I love to laugh and have a good time. Those who know me know that I'm NOT impressed by flashy things. Nice things are nice...but I don't want someone to feel like they need to impress me by having a nice car or a house on Park Avenue (that to me makes me want to run in the other direction). I like being around down to Earth/real type people. I enjoy being around people who are positive and forward thinking. As for my man (in case you find one for me)….he MUST look good in jeans and a t-shirt along with having a great sense of humor. He should be intelligent, articulate and be able to hold a conversation, pay attention and listen. I’m sure there is a guy out there that will suit me and my life, until I find him….I’m just going to continue enjoy what life has to offer.I think life is a balance of all things, love of oneself, family, friends, relationships; work, play, rest/relaxation, entertainment and of course food. I love my life and think other should love theirs as well. Be happy, enjoy what you have and what life has to offer you. Happiness can be the sound of a baby laughing, a smile from a stranger you let cross the street in front of you or the excitment you create when paying for the person's toll behind you on the highway. Take it all in and take a look around. Most of us don’t really have it as bad as we think. Sure we have daily stresses, but who doesn’t. We live in a great country, a great city, have great weather, have jobs, places to live and are surrounded by people who love us. Just like my favorite movie........Life is Beautiful!!!!!

My Interests

Orange and Blue lets GO GATORS!!!!!!!!!!! I love sports! Yoga, and running (I finished my first 5K in 34:45, not bad for not training). Spending time with family and friends. Being around anyone who can make me laugh! Roller-coasters! Good conversation, good wine, beer, and coffe. Real people without drama. People who can teach me things. My GSC (Girls Supper Club). We rotate homes, each home the person cooks dinner, the rest of us bring a side or wine and we incorporate a book into the mix.

I'd like to meet:

Stay in touch with friends and maybe meet some interesting new people.

Music:

My all time favorite is Don Henley, I love, love, love him! Although I think I enjoy almost all music. Soft Rock, Pop, Classic Rock, Country, Rock, Funk, Jazz, Blues, and Blue Grass (I try to stay away from the hard core Rap and Techno). I love listening to Folky style music like the Eagles, but I can get lost in artists like Joe Cocker, Sting, Marvin Gay, and Ray Charles. I enjoy a lot of the newer stuff from bands/artists like Maroon 5, Matchbox 20, Corrine Bailey Rae. Favorite local guy, Von Ra....saw him in the airport last week!

Movies:

Life is Beautiful is my all time favorite. It's a must see if you plan on talking to me!! However...I love all sorts of movies including a good comedy, anything with Vince Vaughn (although I didn't like the Break-up)...he's one funny man! Swingers, My Blue Heaven, Office Space, Napoleon Dynamite, the Blues Brothers (Orange Whip...Orange Whip? Three Orange Whips) and Bruce Almighty are some of my favorite funny movies. I also love a good sappy love story like Dr. Zhivago, Somewhere in Time and I just saw Holiday and loved it. There is something magical about old movies like the Sound of Music, Singing in the Rain.

Television:

I DVR these shows: What About Brian, Entourage, Weeds, CSI, Monk, House, the Food Channel and the News. Family Ties is one of my all time favorite shows, but you also gotta love old re-runs of 70's game shows (Match Game). They just don't have shows like they did in the 70's on TV anymore. I grew up watching Johnny Carson, The Newlywed Game, Hee Haw, Sonny and Cher, Donnie and Marie. And who can forget Solid Gold and Dance Fever? Now that was some good TV time! I swear I was born in the wrong era...I should have been born in the 60's so I could have been dancing around on Dance Fever with a gay friend in a wrap around Danskin dress....~~HOT~~

Books:

Anything by Dan Brown, Marianne Williamson, Mitch Albom, or Alice Sebold. Memoirs Of A Geisha, The Bridges of Madison County, and Harry Potter books. Cook books - Tyler Florence (my husband, he just doesn't know it yet), Rachael Ray, and the Saveur cookbooks are some of my favorites. Reading now...

Heroes:

Anyone who goes above and beyond for someone else!
