Gwat up, I'm Sativo. I'm fairly new to London. I lived in LA for 4 years before moving over here, and although I miss the burritos and palm trees I can't say I want to leave any time soon.

We've managed to make some ripples in the independent hiphop world by being featured on Wax Tailor’s “Hope & Sorrowâ€. The collaboration “Positively Inclined†was in the Top 40 for three weeks straight and the video was nominated for Video of the Week on MTV France. I'm quite sure the single went Silver, and it might even be featured on the next FIFA game. Crazy shit.
We've also got a japan-only release “Cosmic Flavour†which was put out on respected Japanese hiphop imprint MicLife. Big up Miclife! It can now be bought in respected record stores (and mega-chains like Tower Records and HMVs) across Japan. The crew is currently working on our debut LP “Platypus Funk†which will be released in early Fall of 2008 featuring DJ Vadim, Wildchild (Lootpack), Sadat X (Brand Nubian), and Kid Kanevil.
I've been lucky enough to open for a bunch of artists I give maaad props to, across Europe, the US and UK: Madlib, Benga, Pharoe Monch, 4hero, Aesop Rock, Skream, Guilty Simpson, DJ Vadim, Danny Breaks, J-Live, The New Mastersounds, Benji B, People Under the Stairs, Zed Bias, Foreign Beggars, Trus' Me, DJ Format, Breakestra, Broken English and some others.
I'm down with loads of different pigeon-holes of music, and try to play as many as I can whenever I play out. However, I really enjoy the challenge of restricting my sets to something like early 90's hiphop, latin boogaloo, roots reggae, dirty electro and/or dusty jazz.
Someone once said "book him if you want a charismatic medium between JRocc and Diplo." I can't remember who that was, but it sounds good to me.
