The British emcee named Blitzer has always been interested in music whatever the style was. He learned to play guitar from a very young age, but in the last 2 years he has turned his attention towards hip hop. Although he claims hip hop to be his favourite genre of music at this moment in time, he listens to all types of music such as garage, drum and bass and even rock.
After being inspired by great emcees, Blitzer finally decided to start writing his own lyrics in October 2005. He started off writing lyrics in the style of freestyles and rap battles, but as time progressed, so did his skill. In no time he had a large library of lyrics, which were ready to be recorded.
He is currently working on his debut mixtape, which will be his first solo release, and will help to establish Blitzer as one the brightest new emcees to enter the game of UK Hip Hop. It will be named 'Spitting For Britain Vol. 1' and it is set to be released sometime late in 2007/ mid 2008, on D.A.R.E. Records.
At this moment in time, Blitzer has hooked up with like minded artists such as DC, Devast8 (co founder of D.A.R.E. Records) and Sneakyness who have guided him in his music and have been supporting him. Be sure to look out for collaboration tracks with some of these artists.
Armed with his lyrical skill and his catchphrase “Never Show Defeatâ€, the question isn’t will Blitzer ever blow up as an emcee, the question is when.
