Currently, I'm interested in getting things done; but when I'm not preoccupied by my ambitions, I do enjoy just being with people. Preferrably, those people are family/friends, can hold a decent conversation, or are just plain fun to be around!

Music:
My musical preferences actually vary quite a bit. I'll listen to anything once. My personal collection is smaller than it used to be, but it does include things from country to rock, from rap to opera. Not a lot of opera, more like one song... LOL Still, I like to think that listening to everything makes me a more well-rounded individual.
Movies:
I am a movie goer! Love em. I like a little of everything. Horror, comedy, romance... I'll watch anything once! I used to go to the movies every other weekend but times are changing... Not sure when the movie thing will start up again.
Television:
Once again, taste varies. I own the entire Buffy the Vampire series on DVD, along with Charmed, Desperate Housewives, The Gilmore Girls, and (don't laugh) Dawson's Creek. I have recently become interested in Supernatural. Other than that, I don't watch a lot of TV. Mainly because PBS keeps the kids occupied!
Books:
Most of my life has been spent with my nose in a book! I like the classics - favorite being "Pride and Prejudice." Otherwise, I have read most of the Left Behind Series. Modern authors I like include VC Andrews, Judy Garwood, Stephen King, James Patterson, and the occasional romance by Nora Roberts.
Heroes:
My mother is one of my heroes. Now that I'm raising two kids on my own, I understand what she went through. I definitely have a whole new respect for her. After that come my best friend, Amanda, and her husband, Jason. They've been there for me when times got really bad. They are two of the very best people I've ever had the privelige to meet.
