Beneath A Dead Sky is a five piece metal act from western New Jersey. After several lineup changes the band is as you see it to your left. In January 2006, Beneath A Dead Sky released their first EP ‘Communion’, a four song album that treaded the waters of metal-core and sexy. Beneath A Dead Sky has performed with such acts as: Through the Eyes of the Dead, The Agony Scene, The Red Death, Cannae, Ed Gein, Despised Icon, Across Five Aprils, In Pieces, Emmure, Bled Across Miles, Year of Desolation, Bloodlined Calligraphy, Accursed Dawn (RiP), and Anterrabae (RiP). Beneath A Dead Sky has performed in such states as NJ, PA, OH, IL, IN, MD, and CT. If we haven’t played in your state, hit us up.
On Feb. 11th we lost a member of the BADS family Ed $, Fast Eddie, and whatever you may have called him. It's really tough losing one of your own and it's also tough walking away from one of Ed's mean backhands in the pit. We'll dearly miss Ed, and his memory will live on forever... hardcore.
I'm not one to preach, but we have to do something about this we're killing ourselves out there. Too many of my friends/our friends are going away to prison, dieing, and etc. We have to open our eyes to see we are not invincible. Yes, live life to the fullest and enjoy it, but be smart about it. Live for the future and not the moment.
